Litigation can be costly, time-consuming, and emotionally exhausting. Alternative dispute resolution offers a more practical and humane path forward—helping people reach understanding without the strain of the courtroom.
You may benefit from mediation or facilitated dialogue if you:
• Are navigating a legal or interpersonal conflict and want to avoid the expense of hiring an attorney or going to court.
• Need to preserve or strengthen an ongoing relationship with the other party—such as neighbors, co-parents, business partners, colleagues, or longtime friends.
Mediation empowers people to design their own agreements rather than having outcomes imposed by a judge. Because participants create their own solutions, mediated agreements are followed through at a rate nearly 90% higher than traditional court judgments—showing that when people are heard and respected, they are far more willing to honor the outcome.
